I worked with ADCO as Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Engineer and have over 20 year experience in HSE in the oil and gas industry. My key skills are bidding for oil block, facility audit/ inspection, environmental impact assessment, air and effluent monitoring, contractors HSE management, tendering for contract, regulatory compliance, training / mentoring, incidence investigation, emergency response etc.
I have also worked with Shell petroleum development limited and Conoil producing limited as HSE advisor and HSE Manager respectively.
The following are my other achievement: Managed Health, Safety and Environmental issues of the Exploration, Drilling and Production team with efficient output; Managed contractors HSE management through auditing, guardians & counseling, workshop, training and seminar with contractors and ensuring compliance with all regulations and procedure; Carrying out HSE Pre-mobilization & execution audit on contractors prior to executing a contract with zero incidence return during contract; Member of Federal Committee on clean-up and remediation of imparted site;; Prepared, secured and executed favorable budgets from Petroleum Sharing Contract (PSC); Secured various permits with Regulatory bodies before commencement of operations; Conducted regular HSE audit on contractor equipment and personnel prior to signing of contract and during operation; Investigated incidents and made recommendation which prevented further accidents; initiated programme in waste management that reduced cost by 50% etc.
