QA/QC MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Overall responsible for Welding & Fabrication as per recommended standards (ASME SEC IX, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API5L) and specification.
• Formulate reports with respect to production targets and look after the raw material required as per drawing provided.
• Execute micro schedules of equipment/manpower & prepare according to the availability of manpower/equipment to meet the target.
• To carry out the welding inspection of all fittings and sub-assemblies as per drawing.
• Checking welding parameters as per approved WPS. Checking the adequacy of equipment for preheating, welding, heat treatments and weld examinations.
• Checking that only proper electrodes, wires and shielding gas are used & calibration of equipments.
• Co-ordination with Contractors related to welding and NDE activities.
• Welder qualification witness in different welding positions and updating its record.
