Mechanical/Pipeline Engineer

Engineering management, mechanical/piping engineering, procurement of materials/services, construction supervision, as-built documentation and commissioning/start-up of oil and gas development projects.

I am a lead mechanical engineer with 21 years experience in the oil & gas industry. Recently I’ve mobilised to Baku to lead & improve the performance of the mechanical team of AMEC Azerbaijan as EPC Contractor to client BP.

Prior to this I worked 14 ½ yrs as lead mechanical engineer for ILF Consulting Engineers, Germany. Responsibilities included engineering management, the mechanical/piping design, tendering of materials and services, construction supervision, as-built documentation and commissioning of oil and gas pipeline systems with all associated pump- / compressor stations. My experience with ILF includes 6 ½ years as lead mechanical engineer for two major gas- & oil pipeline projects in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, an oil field development project for Iran and earlier a 1 ½ years overseas assignment in Nigeria as well as 1 ½ years as site construction supervisor
