Geotechnical Engineer

To serve and explore in the offshore Geotechnical Field.

I have experience of 8.5+ years in Geotechnical engineering field. Till date I have worked with companies like Larsen and Toubro Valdel Engineering Ltd., Coastal Marine constructions and engineering ltd (COMACOE), Reliance Industries limited(RIL), and Somesha Marine Geosciences pvt ltd (SMG).

Working with these companies I have had exposure to Foundation designing for offshore platforms, ports and jetty constructions.
I have carried out soil investigations, data interpretation and pile designing for several offshore and near shore projects. My role in these projects includes;

 Soil laboratory testing based on ASTM: - Strength tests: Torvane, Miniature vane, Pocket penetrometer, UU triaxial test, Direct shear test, consolidation test. - AL: Liquid limit and Plastic limit - Soil Classification, Sieve analysis, Hydrometer, Specific gravity, Carbonate test, sulphate test, chloride test, organic content.
 Interpretation of Geotechnical data: CPT Interpretations, soil borehole logs.
 Estimate soil design parameters for the soil bearing capacity.
 To calculate pile design curves such as ultimate pile capacity, lateral pile capacity, py- curves, Tz and Qz curves by API, UWA, ICP methods.
 Driveablitiy studies for the pile driving. Pre -driving and post driving analysis.
 Pile Designing and Pile Driveability studies for Well Head Platforms
 On-bottom Stability of Offshore Jackets, Mudmat Designing.
 Pile –soil Interaction
 Pile monitoring reports, Pile Driving Analysis, Factual reports of soil boring, Leg Penetration Analysis


Furthermore, I have good working knowledge on softwares like SACS, GRLWEAP, CPeT-IT, Grapher, gINT, etc.
