Environmental Specialist

Environmental Specialist assess (working environment quality and study the impact of projects on neighborhood). controlling and depose wastes (hazardous and non hazardous) (solid or liquid).

• Chemist at Air Pollution Laboratory, Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Alexandria University (IGSR), to carry out (sampling, analysis and preparation of reports) for air pollutants.
• Do air quality measurements at several industrial fields (petroleum, cement, steel, waving,….etc.) inside and outside the working environment and prepare repots with the results
• Prepare reports about the status of the environment at some polluted or industrial areas.
• Join in the preparation of the Air Pollution Lap to obtain ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) which is an (ILAC MRA) signatory in the field of calibration and testing labs accreditation in (SO2, NOX & Noise) measurement, and also she has passed the accreditation committee test twice as an operator till now.
• Member of team prepare Environmental and social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies (class B & class C) at Air Pollution Laboratory, Institute of Graduate Studies and Research (IGSR) in accordance to environmental Egyptian law and World Bank guidelines.
