Industry experienced and proven Project Services, Operations delivery and execution person with a background in the brownfield and greenfield sectors with skills and experience across multiple disciplines, including Functional Management, for equipment and installation companies, onshore and offshore operators. Skills include Project Management of onshore and offshore multi-million dollar projects, risk and opportunity analysis, commercial and business acumen securing significant change orders that enhanced company’s financial position as well preventing multiple loses and cost reductions from 3rd Party Vendors, adaptability and implementation of practical change management programs. Have achieved significant improvements in company performance/profitability in a range of Oil & Gas and Resource sectors across the globe that have included negotiating the tender and award of million dollar contracts with tier one clients through to the successful execution and delivery of EPC/EPCM contracts.
Over 20 years of Petroleum industry experience covering all project phases – proposals, conception, feasibility, detail design, execution and offshore operations, with hands on experience and management of multiple functions from technical departments to support services in an EPCM/EPIC and Operator environment (Engineering, Project Services, Contracts, Procurement, Manufacturing, Fabrication and Construction) for operations in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Middle East and Australian environments.
Main emphasis has been on major and mega offshore and onshore EPCM/EPIC projects and the management of project execution, delivery and project controls for projects that have included major Minerals & Metals and Infrastructure projects. Project Management experience with responsibility for estimating, contract and commercial management, technical support and advisor, project delivery, P&L, budgets, tender preparation, client management and Contractor monitoring and management. Projects managed and worked on have been with top tier clients such as ConocoPhillips, BP, Shell, Chevron and Total across the globe in various locations for all the major Operators. Experienced Manager of large multi-functional teams, project governance and delivery compliance from project kick-off, staff coaching and mentoring and individual people/team/project development programs.
