• Provide first-line supervision and leadership for a team size of 8-10 staff handling inventory valuation and margin segmentation
• Lead monthly meetings with controllers and senior managers to analyze inventory values and provide financial review and commentaries

• Ensure team adheres to fundamentals of standard accounting principles, policies and standards. Ensure all processes, procedures and controls are followed, and that a robust control framework is maintained.
• Support process knowledge sharing within and across the organization through conduct of process knowledge workshop, ways of working
• Communicate team performance status and needs to the Senior Team Manager and provides monthly service level metrics details
• Conduct quality development and performance reviews for direct reports and ensure the same is being done for indirect reports.
• Ensure staff members are recognized and rewarded for their accomplishments as appropriate
• Ensure that all Shell policies and procedures are followed
• Plan staff back up and ensure plan is workable against frequent staff turnover, same deadlines and complex tasks
