A post graduate Civil/Structural engineer with over 12 years of experience in the design field for Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Hydrocarbon Sector.
Within the exclusive EPC Oil & Gas Experience, 4 years Indian experience as a team engineer and Lead engineer then 4 years of Gulf Experience at Muscat-Oman as an Independent Lead structural Engineer, and currently from last 4 years as a Structural Engineer at Calgary, Alberta- Canada.
Involved with conceptual, front end engineering, detailed engineering, and project management consultancy and construction phases in oil, chemical/petrochemical, refineries, and Hydrocarbon and pollution control industries. Extensive experience in analysis and design of steel as well as RCC structures. Familiar with plant facilities design and foundation/support structure design for heavy static and rotary equipments. Also having a considerable knowledge about transportation and lifting analysis of refinery structures. Also having experience for heavy crude and oil sands projects based on Alberta, Canada projects.
Worked as independent engineer, team leader and lead engineer on various challenging and fast track projects including inter discipline co-ordination, client/vendor liaison and manpower planning/scheduling.
Knowledge of relevant standards and codes of India in addition to being familiar with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) standards, Shell DEPs, BS codes, and other international standards such as ACI, AISC, EURO, Canadian codes such as Alberta building code (ABC),Canadian National Building Code (NBC)and other Canadian standards. Good hands on experience for 3D tools like PDS and PDMS monitoring as an Engineer with Smart Plant View (SPR).Also good experience of representing Civil/structural team for a Model review of PDS & PDMS and SP 3D based projects.
