Procurement Engineer

1.PROCUREMENT ENGINEER
Job profile and responsibilities
•To get input from the about the project requirement
•To send inquiries to the suppliers for the required materials for the Quantity, Quality
•Rate contract with suppliers for the price under the budget
•Supplier coordination and for the delivery of materials and follow ups
•Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence
•Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
•Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project and follow-up the materials needed on site
•Analyses and evaluates requisition forms, as assigned, to ensure purchases meet requirements of company's procurement code
•Check, count, sort and arrange documents as per requirement
•Co-Ordination with suppliers, transporter & warehouse so as to ensure timely receiving of material
•Review BOQ, budget, specifications and drawings for any awarded tender to produce a procurement list with different project
•Auditing the final stages before issuing LPO's by verifying on project and the right activity at that project
•Arranging material submittals from suppliers for consultant's or directs client's approval and following case by case client acceptance / rejection, warranties or any other matters
•Coordinate / arrange periodic maintenance and repairs to office equipment
•Working on MAXIMO for SPIR for Spare parts in GASCO system

2.DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER
•Customer interaction on design point of view and capacity
•Taking customer input & designing a rough outline system
•Selection of major and minor components
•Creating Detailed Bill of Material (BOM) of the materials with Costing for sales
•Updating the Bill of Material (BOM) in ERP
•Development of detailed drawing (Solid works) for customer approval and production
•Developing new designs and to reduce the cost by multitasking components
•Integrating new innovative ideas into the current designs
•Overlooking in fabrication till the stage of powder coating maintaining Standard and safety work procedure
•Overlooking assembly of refrigeration component with right order of standard brazing and Plumbing practices
•Testing the machines with QC Department for achieving Designed result
