Turnaround Manager
Directed planning and execution teams of 2 large-scale turnarounds (TA) involving multiple offshore platforms and major onshore terminals, successful in achieving zero HSE incidents and world-class schedule performance while slashing logistics cost by $12MM in 2015. Led cost optimization initiative through risk assessment, scope refinement and deferment resulting in projected cost savings of $50MM for 2016.
• Planned, organized, and directed TA Team and engineers-in-charge throughout the turnaround process (initiation, planning, execution, until closeout) as per the TA Management Guidelines.
• Established long-term TA strategy as the basis for work program & budget, considering planned maintenance, integrity issues closure, production, and alignment with customers’ downtimes.
• Reviewed TA Work List and ensured the TA scope is optimized through delete-defer-diminish (3Ds) techniques. Established a disciplined scope change control.
• Ensured manpower and schedule are optimized, and fit-for-purpose methodologies are deployed.
