Offshore Chief Mechanic
Worked in South East Asia on a B class jack-up rig. As head of department my duties included organizing and working with a Malaysian crew, giving help and assistance where required, carrying out all aspects of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance and organizing PM system. Prior to going operational I was involved with all aspects of Mechanical & Hydraulic commissioning and testing of the equipment being installed including all Amphion tie in’s. Training of new personnel, compiling all relevant paper work and building data systems for the rig going operational

Offshore Hydraulic Technician
Worked in Singapore on the E-120 super A class jackup rig that was built by Keppel Fels.
Carrying out all aspects of Mechanical & Hydraulic commissioning and testing of the equipment being installed including all Amphion tie in’s with the Drilling equipment.
Prior to that I worked on the E-102 in the North Sea as Lead Hydraulic Technician and was responsible for the maintenance, repair and testing of all hydraulic / pneumatic equipment on-board.
This includes the latest NOV drilling and well control equipment:
Pipe Racking System, Top Drive system, Iron Roughneck, Draw works, Mud pumps, HPU, Cranes.
Shaffer NXT BOP / Diverter, Koomey HPU, Riser tensioner system. Choke and Kill manifold.
Work alongside rig mechanic maintaining all mechanical equipment on board.
Documenting and planning of PM routines and third party inspections.
Provide 24 hour cover for all Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment on-board.
