Design and Fabrication of Pneumatic Arm for pick and place
The working model of Pneumatic arm was built with a work volume of 0.6 m3 and 1800 base rotation. Helical Screw was used to convert linear motion of Piston of the Pneumatic cylinder to rotational motion of Horizontal arm. Direction control valves and flow control valves were used for movement of the arm. Helical screw was made up of EN 21 Steel and Mild Steel was used for remaining parts. Fabricated arm has Semi circular work volume and can be used as Material Handling system in various industries and Shipping docks.
Mini Projects
A mini project named Ball Follower Robot was completed. The program was written using Arduino and simulation was run using Matlab. A working model was successfully done. Program was written and simulation was done for locating black objects using a web camera.
