Professional Experience
My experience includes executing and programming operations for well construction and completion design. Also included is data gathering and analysis for decision making for small and large fields.
I have worked with Shell International and three U.K. Consultancies and have supported operations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America, FSU, SEA and APac.
My anchor skills in reservoir exploitation are through application of practices and designs to minimise formation damage and solids production. Further skills include artificial lift, concept screening, field development planning and project framing.
On & offshore field types have included high rate gas, carbonates, clastics, sour & heavy oil.
In 2002 I was appointed as a Senior/Principle Production Technologist and, since then, I have managed multi-discipline teams on global projects, delivering the requested work within time and budget with clear and concise documentation.
With Helix RDS, I was Wells Manager in Perth Australia and helped open up the a Senergy office there. I went on to be the Head of Production Technology with Senergy and a member of the Global Technical Leaders team with the remit to manage quality, efficiency, communication and knowledge sharing. With iPT, I set up the Aberdeen Office and was the manager there.

Additional Information
• During my current assignment in Kuwait I have worked with a large database of many hundreds of artificially lifted wells. Within the A/L team I clarified how best to optimise current and future A/L systems. Components included
• Developing a workflow to track on-going pump performance, planned investigations, repairs and replacements. Spotfire software was integral to this phase
• Made detailed analysis of equipment failure and considered different performance metrics to assess and improve pump life expectancy
• Many performance metrics were considered to avoid bias (i.e. average pump life, MTTF, Dynamic Average Equipment Run Life, trip frequency and number of pumps to have reached target life)
• In a wide spectrum of other projects, I have worked closely with:
• Geomechanics, Petrology, SCAL and RCA to optimise well stability, operation and productivity
• Timely implementation of new and established technologies
• Application of Petex software for generating well VLP and IPR
• Optimise well integrity, productivity and longevity in both injection and production wells
