My recent role at Rio Tinto Maintenance Officer
Operation and maintenance of two waste water treatment plants, upkeep of the site
reverse osmosis water treatment plant including the water storage facility along with
the raw water supply bore field pumps.
Position also includes overseeing the repair and maintenance teams for continuous
operation of the laundry equipment, accommodation unit, office, workshops, all gas and
steam cooking equipment, commercial kitchen and shower blocks, wash down areas and
reverse osmosis water treatment plants. dishwashing and ice machines in the commercial
kitchen on site, portable and not portable water delivery pumps, submersible sewer
grinder pumps, camp swimming pool filtration and water quality testing.


Experienced Plumber with considerable knowledge and expertise of providing advice and
plumbing solutions to customers. Having a proven ability to read blueprints, drawings
and specifications to determine a clients requirements, and to then install and service
plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls, pipe fitting Able to work
in cooperation with other trades and labourers and having an understanding of relevant
building codes, legislation, regulations and construction sites . Great organisational and communication skills ensuring jobs are done in a efficient
professional manner in both team orientated and self directed situations .
I have acquired many transferable skills over the years that are easily adaptable to
many situations which include , but not limited to mig welding, restricted electrical
license ,water treatment plant operations , carpentry skills ,piping instrumentation
