QA/QC Engineer

4. Ultrasonic Testing
Presently I am working as a Engineer Quality Control & Assurance in TeamLease services Ltd. (Thermal power plant) Since February 2018.

Duties and Responsibility:
- Carrying out various inspection such as welder performance Qualification, fabrication, welding & non destructive examinations as per drawing, QAP, Standards.
- Prepare Stage Inspection records and Co-ordination with Third party inspectors on daily inspection activities.
- Sound knowledge of welding process (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW), Materials welding and fabrication methods.
- Practical experience of conducting non-destructive testing like LPT, MPT, & UT according to ASME reference and acceptance standard.
- Inspection of sub-assembly during fit up condition in tack weld condition/bolted with its relevant parts. Control assembly of heavy components after full welding for proper fitment, alignment and straightness and dimensions

- To check and monitor blasting, painting related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company
procedure, client requirement.
- Monitoring and examining each stage of production and carrying out final inspection ready to dispatch.
- Making all documents for respective jobs and Review all documents as per relevant Standard with Client at the time of final Inspection.
- Drive Continuous process improvements to achieve consistent product quality
- Internal auditing, verification of Quality records and follow up of corrective actions of various projects.
- Establish supplier manufacturing process plans and maintain process controls.

BE-Mechanical Engineering with CGPA-7.2

Experience in welder performance Qualification.
Witnessing Ultrasonic, radiographic, dyepenetrant and magnetic particle testing.
Heat treatment process like preheating, post heating and PWHT.
