DUTIES
• Train handling.
• Monitoring and evaluating drivers’ performance on train handling as per the SOP to ensure effectiveness in achieving the best transit time.
• Monitoring, analysis and control of CAPEX/OPEX as per the monthly budget in SAP.
• Data analysis on fuel efficiency and providing recommendations on improvement areas to top management.
• Carry out periodic checks on commuter and passenger trains to ensure safety standards are met.
• Planning, co-ordination and monitoring the efficient movement of rolling stock from loading point to destination. Main performance index: meet the customer’s expectations
• Plan and carry out periodic inspection including motive power, braking system and other on-truck equipment that provide assurance that locomotives are operational in compliance with safety standards.
