Directional Driller

I would like to apply with your company for the position of Directional Driller where I can use my 30 plus years of oilfield experience to help achieve your company’s mission. This experience includes 14+ years as a Directional Driller.

January 2015 - June 2015- Directional Driller with Weatherford working offshore in The Gulf Of Thailand on Emerald Driller. Most wells were high temperature four string wells along with one five string well.2012 to 2015 – Directional Driller with Halliburton working in The Gulf of Thailand. I have been working on a Jackup drilling batch wells, usually 24 on a pad. Very well versed in Compass anti-collision and Insite. When drilling these wells you need to be able to make quick decisions and always be well prepared before each and every section. It is not uncommon to weave through three or four other wells in a section while drilling +5000ft in 12 hours.2005-2012- Sperry Sun Kuwait – Directional Driller. I have spent the last seven plus years drilling wells for Sperry Sun in Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia. I have spent most of my time drilling horizontal wells alongside stratasteer maintaining a one foot window in the lateral sections but I have also drilled other profiles. I have had some experience with the Geo-Pilot but mostly mud motors were used to drill these sections.2003- 2005- Precision Energy - Directional Driller, experience in S wells, directional wells, underbalance horizontals and strat wells. Three years experience in underbalance horizontals in the Helmet oilfield. 1996-2003 Ensign Drilling, Nisku, AB
1996-2001- Ensign Drilling- Started in 1996 as a Derrickman and accumulated 5 years of drilling experience
1985-1996 – Kenting Hi-Tower Drilling, Nisku, AB.
Worked in the Nisku shop. Duties included the maintenance and repair of all types of oilfield equipment including BOP’s, drawworks, pumps, motors, mudtanks and boilers

Started roughnecking in 1982 and spent my last year as a Derrickman.

I received my GED from AVG collage in Alberta Canada.

Most of my tickets have expired including my T-Boiset which I am planning to take once again.
