CIVIL ENGINEER

In my role as a Structural Engineer I provide the calculations and design of structural elements of different materials (steel, aluminium, timber, ect.) and also the calculations for various types of system fixing. I produce the calculation of action wind on structure.

Duties:
• Structural design of a wide range of curtain wall projects for most of the major curtain wall suppliers who operate in the UK and Ireland;
• Structural calculation of stick, unitized and panelised curtain walls, glazed canopies, domes arches and other complex roof structures;
• Structural and civil engineering design of office blocks and similar buildings;
• Residential development projects that include traditional load bearing walls with timber or precast concrete floors and also timber frame construction;
• Refurbishment projects, from the simple design of a beam to carry a stone wall to complete reinforcement and independent support of entire buildings.

CIVIL ENGINEER

In my role as a Civil Engineer I am responsible for planning, designing, managing various projects, monitoring the executions of projects related to technical design, checks all produced documents like design reports, technical specifications, drawings etc , obtain the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfillment of the project quality requirements and the contractual obligations.

Duties:
• Production of plans and drawings, take measurements and check that the work in progress corresponds to the design specifications and related documentation;
• Design of pipelines for waste and clean water;
• Demolition and reconstruction work: structural analyses, production of 2D and 3D models (ArchiCAD);
• Health and safety plan for demolition and reconstruction phases;
• Managing the whole project from beginning to end at each stage;
• Co-ordinating and monitoring the work of both contractors and suppliers;
• Delivering projects under strict deadlines and within the client’s budget;
• Making a judgment on whether certain projects are feasible by looking at costs, time and labor requirements of the project;
