Laboratory Engineer

Laboratory Engineer.
Responsibilities and achievements:

• Supervise and manage lab analysis works or testing, including but not limited to oil salt content, BS&W, dew point, LPG, C3, C4, Dry gas, Fuel gas, Lube oil using ASTM, IP & AFNOR standards.
• Responsible for ensuring calibration of equipment periodically.
• Authorize to review and validate laboratory test results.
• Performs various duties that include, but are not limited to training chemist, delegating work, and carrying out test methods in compliance with the standard test methods, and established quality procedures.
• Generating requisitions for procurement of chemicals, glassware, consumables and spares.
• Proposing budgetary requirements for procurement of new laboratory equipment for continual improvement of testing facilities.
• Cooperate with other departments for the process trouble shooting activities.
• Establish consumption material inventory, keep it up to date and accurate, and review lab chemical and consumption every day.
• Experience with chemical treatments application in oilfields operations (crude oil, natural gas plants).
• Experience with CHIMEC and NALCO chemical products using for corrosion inhibitors and demulsifiers.
