4 Years of experience as Piping design engineer in Oil and Gas and Chemical Process plants which includes;
• Checking of Isometrics as per P&ID, PMS, Line list, Piping-Instrumentation interface drawing, vendor data for equipments, control valves, flow meters, etc.
• Reviewing the piping systems using review software SPR or navisworks, depending on whichever is applicable for the respective project, and addressing any irregularity in the plant model.
• Reviewing vendor data and nozzle orientation drawings of equipments.
• Study and review of Job contract document and various project specifications.
• As a designer, pipe routing on 3D software (SP3D) and layout development including piping for Pumps, Heat exchangers, Water storage tanks, Horizontal vessel, Air cooler, Columns.
• Modeling of supports for critical and non-critical lines as per Stress recommendation and Support Standard Specification, respectively.
• As an engineer, reviewing the MTO report prepared by the team and checking against model and P&ID for possible reduction in fittings without affecting layout.
• As a designer, preparation of MTO report at different levels of the project for procurement by the Materials team including extraction of MTO dump from model and correcting any discrepancies in the report prior to submission to the Lead engineer.
• Incorporating changes in piping system due to IDITs from other discipline.
• Resolving technical queries issued from Fabrication yard / Site.
• Coordination with other disciplines for overall execution of piping engineering activities for a project.
• Training and coaching of new personal coming into the project and effective supervision of the assigned personals.
• Well conversant with important aspects of Plant and Piping Engineering for executing a project and is conversant with commonly used codes & standards (ASME, API, ASTM, Shell, etc.) used in Piping Industry.

B.E. Chemical engineering completed in 2012 with 8.18/10 CPGA from SDCMCET, India

I am a Graduate Chemical Engineer with 4 yrs piping design experience in oil/gas and chemical process projects. I am looking for opportunities in process engineering, plant production or operations. I am currently residing in Dubai.
