Performs electrical maintenance work (includes troubleshooting,
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance) for all MARAFIQ Potable
Desalination Plants, Chemical Treatment Plant, Water Pumping
Stations and Reverse Osmosis Plants, Seawater Cooling System,
Transport out preventive and corrective maintenance of 28 nos. 4.16kV vertical pumps used for pumping 15 million Cubic meters of sea water daily to all the Jubail industries. This involves servicing the motor in overhauling,
Servicing the motor starters in preventive maintenance, carrying out corrective maintenance and trouble shooting the control circuit of the motor starters during pump trips LV. MV. HV MOTORS
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of Electrical Substation. This involved maintaining the mains Vacuum and Air circuit Breaker. Carrying out their checking and repair as and when required. Maintaining the control panel, panel components and circuitry of the breakers
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of LV. MV. Mechanical interlock testing of Transformer and 20 Transformer Rectifier Units used for Electrolysis of Sea Water for production of Sodium Hypochlorite at a rate of 35 MT per day. This involved checking the transformers, SCR circuitry, individual ACB for the Rectifier units. Checking its control circuit and troubleshooting during trips and returning back the units in operation.
UPS System, Battery Chargers and Battery Banks.
Implements SAP generated preventive maintenance task for all electrical equipments and facilities. Performs Tasks as per GPM task list.
Performs installation of modified control and protection system of raw water wells pump Motor Control centers.
These include installation of GE 239 motor protection relay module.
Performs installation and replacement of new submersible motors for Raw Water wells. Performs splicing of
Submersible cables and connected cable terminals to motor and MCC panel.
Performs troubleshooting and locating faulted underground cables and splicing using waterproof shrinkable tubing
Performs repair and replacement of busted street lightings, security lighting and high mast Flood lights in the plant.
Performs installation of new lightings fixtures and pole lightings as per job request
