I’ve spent the last 15 years working full-time in the IT security industry as a technician and the last 10 years for a company that specializes in the implementing and maintaining of the security system at Parliament Cape Town (South Africa). I’m currently a senior maintenance technician who works on the CCTV and Access Control system. I’m also very familiar with Fire detection systems and have installed and maintenance of it. For half of my working career I’ve been on maintenance sites, most importantly the High security principles at a National Key Point such as Parliament and have no trouble adapting to the various situations.
What I like most about my current job is that it gives me the opportunity to learn and be more creative in the industry and it looks like this position would do the same. I feel that I could be a valuable asset to your team, and I bring to the table all the skills that you require as an electronic technician.
