Experience: 6 years
Relocation: Yes - Internationally
Career Objective
Leading a team of two reservoir-engineers and a reservoir-geologist, that is responsible for a group of fields with a production of 25,000 BOPD.
Professional Experience
• Monitoring well and reservoir performance and recommending appropriate actions for improving the production and reserves.
• Designing and following up field development plans.
• Making data acquisition plans and following up with its implementations (RFT, DST, PVT, SFL, PLT, logs, cores well-test among others).
• Locating the positions of the new development wells and following up drilling and workover activities.
• Proposing well remedial actions (water shut-off, gas shut-off, perforations adjustment, hydraulic fracturing and acid stimulation among others).
• Constructing reservoir simulation models for forecasting.
• Providing periodic reserves-estimates and production-forecasts in addition to assisting in the preparation of the company budget, drilling/workover schedules, audit and annual reports.
• Representing the company in technical meetings and conferences including internal meetings with the partner (ENi).
In addition to the previous duties, I was assigned to another team responsible for gas-production activities, including the activities of the company’s gas plant that has a capacity of 25 MMSCFD of sales-gas.

PERSONAL PUPLICATIONS
NATC – APR 2013 – Cairo, Egypt
SPE # 164661
“Overcoming the Typical Operational Problems & Cost of Water Injection Using Dumpflooding”
The paper is analyzing a successful implementation of dumpflooding in one of the company fields.
MOC – APR 2016 – Alexandria, Egypt
“A Modified Kriging Approach to Incorporate Well-Test Permeability in 3D Static Models”
Won the 3rd place among the 200 presented papers
The work is introducing a modified simple-kriging technique especially designed for distributing permeability maps
Additional Information
A skilled, intelligent engineer with a strong passion to seek, develop and initiate new ideas and work strategies. Possess a proven record of designing over 50 consecutive successful intervention jobs, achieving an average of 60% gain in production over a single year.
Acquired a comprehensive knowledge in reservoir simulation and have a published paper that introduces a modified kriging approach for permeability distribution in 3D static models.
• Presented in numerous occasions & technical conferences.
• Recalculated the OIIP of one main field, which led to doubling the previously estimated value.
• Corrected the company standard cut-off value for the resistivity in open-hole logs. This led to unlocking additional, unaccounted reserves in numerous wells/reservoirs.
• Reevaluated and successfully recovered 8 wells (with +1000 BOPD) that were shut-in for many years due to low productivity and/or high water cut.
• Constructed the fluid models of two reservoirs to convert their dynamic models from E100 to E300.
• Initiated and executed the idea of having a regular monitoring schedule for the first time in the company history.
• Initiated the idea of having a unique data base between the different technical departments.
• Constructed an Excel sheet capable of generating permeability realizations using simple kriging approach.
