Professional Experience
Currently working as a Drilling Waste - Drilling Fluids Field Chemist at Halliburton in zero discharge project with TOTAL E&P (Kaombo Project block-32). As one my roles, I am responsible for all lab operation at the rig site, conduct lab researches specifically on Infracal testing procedures, equipment operation and calibration. This tests enables us determine the amount of oil on processed cuttings and water before the decision of discharging the waste steam overboard. I also review drilling and Completion fluids program, prepare mixing plans and gather mud samples to perform QA/QC lab tests to determine trends and identify contaminants on the drilling fluids.
In the past, I worked as a quality Control supervisor in a food distribution and delivery company which I found to be a very interesting position as it was my first one after I graduated.
While still in the University, I volunteered myself to work as a research lab tech.

Certification
BSS storage, transport and Processing of Drilling waste.
Basic Solids Controls Equipment Training.

As part of my skills, I speak Portuguese as my native language and I am fluent in English both speaking and writing.
I am computer literate with full Microsoft office package skills, C++, MatLab, Symyx draw, Linux, ChemCard, etc.
As a person, I have a strong communication skills both written and verbal, I am an innovator, fast learner, dynamic, pro-active, team player, dedicated, ability to work independently and with supervision.
Furthermore, I am continuously learning and for now I am busy with self development in Drilling and Completion Fluids Technology and Project management.
