Commissioning Activities for the first time energization of all indoor Bay equipments of 400 kV GIS Substation, OH Lines, Submarine cables, Transformers, Shunt reactors by remote switching through SCADA.
 Involved in Periodic review and Monitoring progress of GCCIA Sub-station construction Project execution by sub-contractors and taking part with technical comments pointing out project snags.
 Involved in technical study of electrical behavior for the first time energization/synchronization of various 400 kV GIS Grid elements, magnetic inrush current of Transformers, Reactors, Submarine Cables, HVDC Converter transformers, Valve house, PLC & harmonic Filters etc.
 Preparation of Switching Sequence for execution of operational unmanned switching of various Grid elements through Areva SCADA control center.
 Performed first time synchronization of various Arabian Gulf country Grid Networks viz. Kuwait-9800 MW, Bahrain-2600 MW, Qatar-3800 MW & UAE-11500 MW 50Hz through HVDC Saudi Arabia-11500 MW 60Hz System.
 Coordinating with all Gulf member countries followed by any Load / Generator tripping as per their primary and secondary Governor droop response.
 Monitoring & controlling of integrated GCC Grid parameters like active & reactive flow of Power, System frequency with flat tie-line frequency bias mode by integrated area control error signal.
 Dispatch and balance between generation and demand through economic dispatch model. Develop, maintain and implement power systems contingency plans critical facilities by defining critical load, single line diagrams, and what-if scenarios to restore power in case of a partial or complete loss of power.
 Comply with Grid operation Transmission codes with adherence of international standard Safety norms.
 Real time coordination of Power Trading among all GCC countries through HVDC & HVAC Transmission Network under provisions of Power Exchange Trade Agreement.
 Developed various software tools in MS Excel with the help of Visual Basic Macro Programming code for daily use in control room operational activities for collecting operational records & preparing mgmt reports.

4 Years Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2000 with 1st class ( 9th position in the University ) from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati-13. INDIA.
