Experienced Mechanical Engineer with sound technical background and solid skills in OIL & GAS and POWER sector (nuclear and conventional)

Site Construction / Mechanical Engineer / Project Management (PMC/EPC-role), with 29 years of experience ( 15 in Oil & Gas and 14 in Power Industry), 15 years overseas (Middle East, North & West Africa) in the: LNG, Oil/Gas Processing, Nuclear Power Generation(PHWR-CANDU), Power & Desalination Projects having developed:
Experience in performing within PMT and EPC Contractor organisations;
Supervisory skills of multi-national workforces for the duration of Construction phase (equipment, piping, structural, etc);
Proficiency in Mechanical Equipment (static/rotating) and Piping erection/commissioning/start-up in Oil & Gas field;
Experience in the assessment of the technical feasibility of the installation of Mechanical related Systems;
Provide field engineering, inspection and testing support;
• Extensive experience on performing systems performance tests, surveillance and preventive maintenance;
• Proficiency in columns,towers,fired and HRSG boilers installation and start-up; settle down/commissioning gas/steam turbines;
• Able to supervise/deal with Technical Quality, Planning, Design and Manpower issues;
• Extensive experience on performing construction activities under PTW System in both, Green/Brown field;
• Familiar on reading, using and implementing TS’s, ITP’s, MS’s, RA’s, JSA’s, P&ID’s, equipment drawings, piping isometrics, Test-Packages, Vendor documents, Site instruction/modifications;
• Coordination of Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Start-up works integrated in the ICAPS (Integrated Commissioning and Progress System) and WinPCS (Windows Project Completion System) completion systems.
• A sound knowledge of international standards and codes (ASME Sect.I &VIII/B31.1/3/8, API 620/650, ASTM);
• Job related training: “Safety Concept in NPP’s”, “Training on ASME Code”, “Train the Trainer in NPP”, ”Application on Leak-Before-Break Concept in NPP’s”;
• Administrative aptitude and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Internet/E-mail software)
• Safety awareness (Training Courses such as: HSES Supervision and Leadership Program , Incident Investigation & Reporting, IIF Safety Coaches , PTW,H2S/BA, Defensive Driving )
