Production & Maintenance Engineer

• Handling manpower (70 nos) for operation.
• Conducting quality audit on line.
• Handling process breakdown.
• Maintaining 5 S on production line.
• Achieving production target.
• Developing process improvement ideas.
• Ensuring correct procedure & tools used on line during production.
• Acting shift incharge in absence of shift incharge
• Responsible for overall maintenance of plant building & facilities.
• Responsible for maintenance of plant machine (Blender, Extruder,Emboss unit,Winder unit).
• Responsible for smooth functioning and quality of utilities (water, compressed air, fire fighting system, cooling circuits).
• Maintenance of utilities (Diesel Generator, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Air compressor).
• Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment’s (HOPT, Fork lift).
• Define the necessary spare parts and consumables for the proper development of the processes within its area of responsibility, targeting stocks to minimize inventory.
• Manages the operating technicians.
• Maintain contact with suppliers of machinery, spare parts, service and continually seeks new technologies that would improve the delivery of utilities and process cost reductions.
• Maintaining Maintenance Document as per ISO and P&G standard
• Handling of Operation of Horizontal Ball Mill & Vertical Mills, Hot Gas Generator(Furnace), Automated Blending Unit, vacuum conveying system, worked with SCADA operating system.
• Production planning & control.
• Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Train and coach production line employees.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
• Achieving the Production targets with optimum utilization of the available resources.
• Inventory management.
• Maintaining production records & Equipment History cards.

 B.E.(Mechanical) from Padre Conceicao College Of Engineering
Verna-Goa (Affiliated to Goa University) with First class in the year 2010-2011

 Post-Graduate Diploma in Piping Design Engineering and Construction from Asian Academy of Professional Training, Pune, Maharashtra. In the year 2013.
 Attended One Month Certificate course in SAFETY & HEALTH FOR SUPERVISORY personnel working in HAZARDOUS PROCESSES Conducted by factory inspectorate and Boiler, Govt. of Goa.

• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 codes, ASME SEC-VIII, and ASME standards.
• Good knowledge of P&ID, Plot plan, equipment layout, piping isometric.
• Knowledge of piping materials and stress analysis.
• Design Knowledge of pressure vessel.
• Knowledge of AUTO CAD 07 ,PRO-E & SAP
• Knowledge & working experience in industrial electrical & instrumentation.
• Experience in commisioning of project.
• Analysis of failures using FMEA.
