Professional Experience
Duties and Responsibilities (Process Controller/ Control Room Operator): Monitor and control reactor pressures, temperatures, levels, flowrates and speeds of rotary feeders and blowers. Monitor recording instruments, panel lights and other indicators. Listen for warning signals/alarms, to verify conformity of process conditions. Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by foreman or team leader. Report all unsafe conditions and safety deviations to the foreman or team leader. Selecting drawing silos and conveying of batches to destination silos using ORSI control system. Calculate production yields based on formulas. Entering data on SAP. Record operating, process and production data. Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process out on the field. Notify E&I technicians, fitters and other auxiliary personnel to correct, repair or replace equipment malfunctions. Compile relevant shift log at the end of the shift
Duties and Responsibilities (Field Operator): To control production, quality and quantity requirements as per SOP, to report all deviations to superior and maintain minimum waste quantity and offer physical assistance to superior. To ensure all routine work in conjunction with plant requirements are carried out. Sampling of product and quality checks to be carried out and report all deviations to supervisor. Monitoring field and control room activities including ORSI control system. To ensure that all production changes and SOC’s are adhered to. General housekeeping to be carried out on a daily basis. All routine work that is carried out must comply with requirements of the OSH Act.
