A budding professional with nearly 4 year experience in piping and structure erection and fabrication in oil and gas project.

Currently working as an Assistant engineer (mechanical) in Reliance Industries limited   Jamnagar J3 project under MEG (mono ethylene glycol) and MEG Cooling tower unit.

· Studying my scope of piping lines from the layout, P & ID, and isometric drawings.

· Supervising fit up and welding of spool to spool or spool to field run pipe together and welding supports also (as much as possible according to accessibility) to lift and place one time (saving time and effort).

· Reviewing Method of statement, specifications, and standards of materials (pipes, fittings, flanges, gaskets…etc).

· Inspection and testing of fabrication pipes. Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping.

· Checking joint fit-up 96”, 60”, 42”, 24”, 12”, 8”, 4” cooling water return, OS and fire water line as per WPS standard and done hydro-test at 13.05 kg/cm2 as per LDT 1.5 times design pressure.

·  Checking branch and reinforcement pad fit-up of 96” and 60” cooling water return line.

 

· Witnessing of pneumatic test, hydro-test in erection field. Reviewing final packages for hydro tests, approving & releasing for hydro test.

· Checking of AG spools flange, socket and nipple fit-up and done spools hydro-test.

· Witnessing of flange joint assembly and bolt torque. Inspection of gaskets, support, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing for constriction, code and specification standard.

· Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.

· Supervising welding pipe supports which to be erected in position at any structure.

· Reinstatement for piping test packages after applying tests and closing punch lists (B & C items) with the main contractor and client.

· Monitor Productivity and report on progress daily, weekly and monthly basis.

·  Interface with QC and ensure all Inspections and approvals are carried out without any schedule impact.

· Ensure Vendor Documentation completion as per Project Requirement.

· Prepare Structural fabrication plan as per Project Schedule.

· Prepare Structural fabrication drawings and Material Take off, availability as per sequence from   Project Management/Engineering.

· Ensure all engineering information is available with Vendor.
