Offshore installation manager is onboard ultimate authority with responsibility for safety and welfare of personnel, for the safety, watertight integrity and seaworthiness of unit.

Licensed offshore installation manager, jack-ups barge supervisor and ballast controller with over 14 years’ experience in this position, involved and experienced in jack up/down, moving and positioning operations of mobile offshore drilling units. Participation and leadership in works for overhauling, upgrading of jack-ups; experienced in jackets and templates installation. Advanced knowledge of mechanics and electricity related for all drilling equipment and machinery, cyber jack-ups (cyber Amphion, bentec, x-com sense). I have over 20 years’ offshore experience in the Black Sea, Aegean and Mediterranean, as well as the Persian Gulf and strong drilling background gained from drilling contractors.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Oil and Gas University Ploiesti – Romania, specialized in the drilling and exploitation of oil and gas wells since 1985.
Over 36 years’ experience in onshore and offshore drilling for oil and/or gas wells (conventional-vertical, inclined, high inclined, horizontal and extended reach drilling wells; side-tracks, re-entries; anomalies of pressure and temperature, active waters, gas, carbon dioxide, H2S). In-depth knowledge of well design, special drillings (coring, hydrogeological, large diameter, salt, carbon dioxide and offshore wells), geology, drilling fluids and special operations (casing, cementing, fishing). Extensive knowledge of reservoir exploitation (completion, workover), petroleum equipment, onshore and offshore drilling rigs. In accordance with university studies, specific training courses and experience achieved: I have held positions such Tourpusher, Toolpusher, Senior Toolpusher, Superintendent and Drilling Supervisor on offshore and onshore oilfields.
