Petroleum Engineer

My main interest at present is in Petroleum Production Engineering, particularly in production from unconventional sources of oil and gas.

I have attended a 40-working-day internship at a laboratory of oil refinery in summer 2015. It was a governmental institution at Zahrani Oil Installation in Lebanon. I dealt with petroleum products having an idea about physical and chemical properties about such products. The next summer I got involved in a project at the Lebanese Petroleum Administration. We studied the sedimentology of carbonate reservoir and the modeling challenges associated with it, explored the technical challenges of production through such reservoirs and conducted a research on the best enhanced oil recovery methods used in carbonate reservoirs.
. In summer 2014, I worked at the Duty Free of Beirut airport for 3 months. This gave me some knowledge of management and marketing, though I have always felt that the greatest skill one can have is the ability to get on with people.

a fourth-year bachelor student in the department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at Near East University in Northern Cyprus. I got a scholarship to start my undergraduate degree at my university. I have a CGPA of 3.63.
