• Oversaw project management, developing FEED, tender, review, award, detail design, fabrication and implementation.
• Managed construction of offshore platform NUI and onshore oil treatment, stabilisation and storage facility. Operation via subsea fibre optic.
• Developed scope with split contracts, integration management, including HAZOP and SIL reviews.
• Review of engineering design, approval of specification, documentation, and drawings for dual pipelines carrying 40bnM3 of natural gas from Turkmenistan across Uzbekistan, through Kazakhstan to China.
• Led build, test and commissioning of multiple compressor and valve stations.

CHEVRON PEMBROKE REFINERY (FORMERLY TEXACO) / FIRCROFT/AKER 2006 - 2010
SENIOR INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
• Oversaw project engineering design and project control for modifications and upgrades to Pembroke Refinery.
• Directed projects involving replacement of SIL SIS/ESD system utilising a Triconex system in compliance with IEC 61511, including estimating, HAZOP, SIL review and analysis, selection, writing specification for all systems and field instruments for procurement.
• Handled generation of project P&ID’s, Cause & Effects, and complete range of required instrument drawings, detailing design changes to DCS systems, attending FAT’s, etc.
• Managed project involving upgrades to handle Bio-Diesel through from import, blending to final export, along with smaller SIL rated ESD systems and modifications, installation of vibration and condition monitoring systems for a reciprocating recycle gas compressor and similar for HVGO pump controls.
