Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, initial start-up, stabilization, shutdown, maximum capacity test and normal operation of Hydrogen Production Units, Amine Regenerators, Sour Water Stripping, Sulfur Recovery, Tail Gas Treating. It includes setting parameters from the control room according to standard procedures and / or specific instructions and the following production parameters to ensure stable and safe operating conditions. Ensure special attention to loggers, indicators and alarms at all stages, as well as to safety by taking action accordingly.
Operate the DCS and maintain a steady state of operation of the process units under the control of related equipment in the safest and most efficient way to meet the required performance.
Monitor, adjust and control all process parameters such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, levels, etc. of unitary equipment such as multiple valves, pumps, compressors, turbines, heaters, boilers, cooling towers, tanks, reactors, etc. through screens, graphs, trend records and archived operations. Record all those activities within the shift.
