MECHANICAL QC ENGINEER :OFFSHORE INFRASTRUCTURES LTD. From May 2015 to March 2017 .
For the Project Crude oil Distillation Unit/Vacuum Distillation Unit (CDU/VDU) as a part of IREP (Integrated Refinery Expansion Project) by BPCL (A Govt: of India undertaking), Ernakulam, Kerala
JOB PROFILE:
• Weld visual inspection.
• Loop line walk, attending repairs.
• Monitor special processes such as PWHT,NDT methods(Dye penetrant test),Offering for radiography.
• Inspection upon manufacturing activities by review of TPI as per standards..,Contractor’s inspection reports and highlight any issues to the Sr.QAQC engineer.
• Monitor the project’s schedules ,Participate in project’s quality audits ,failure/root cause analysis sessions as directed by Sr,QAQC Engineer.
• Familiar with ASME codes and standards.
• Documentation of reports.
• Provides active support to the project team in the review/finalization of various project documents and record templates (Test Paks,Loop checking etc.)and ensure their effective implementation by the random review of the associated documentation and occasional participation in the respective punch listing walk through.
