Key Accountabilities
 Receiving and transmitting messages between rig and shore bases, supply vessels, helicopters, and other stations by radio & telephone.
 Operating all communication equipment in the radio room and ensuring they are well maintained and operational.
 Maintaining a radio watch on maritime and aeronautical emergency frequencies.
 Managing records/logs of all radio communications to and from the rig.
 Ensuring the maintenance of all electronic navigational aids where applicable.
 Testing the standby radio equipment and the radio equipment in the lifeboats on a weekly basis.
 Advising the OIM of any emergency situations within the vicinity of the installation.
 Informing the Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) of all intended helicopter traffic to the rig.
 Establishing and maintaining radio contact with helicopter traffic to and from the rig.
 Participating in emergency drills and responding to emergency situations as per designation on station bill
 Creating time sheet manual and online HRMS submitting to Monthly Payroll team
 Reporting any incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situation to the supervisors
 Attending weekly safety meetings.
 Keeping properly monitor on Global Logistics Management System ( GLMS ) for Helicopter And boat movement daily.
