Im working now as a Mechanical Supervisor with the Oil Company SONATRACH in HASSI R’MEL ALGERIA specialized in the Maintenance of the Centrifugal Compressors , Designs or studies mechanical modifications to oil/gas processing, oil/gas handling and utilities facilities.Occasionally called upon to design mechanical aspects of new facilities of the type mentioned. Assist in engineering analysis, development, design and control of assigned
projects within any one of the recognized engineering fields. Mentor the operation of rotating equipment, such as compressors, & pumps.Troubleshoot equipment upsets & trips.Prepare equipment monitoring procedures & guidelines.
My Principal Accountabilities with SONATRACH are :
 Management of all types of rotating machinery; Centrifugal Compressors and its Auxiliary
Equipments, turbines, including strong knowledge of mechanical seals and seal systems.
 Be part of a multi-disciplined maintenance support team, reviewing existing maintenance
procedures and determining / putting in place future recommendations.
 Provide day to day mechanical equipment support and advice to the maintenance teams.
 Plan preventative maintenance work and feed into the 5 yearly integrated planning system.
 Provide specialist support with regards to inspection, fault analysis and improved
maintenance strategies . Take the lead in condition monitoring report analysis to identify potential equipment
failure and improvement opportunities.
 Participation in the Preparations of the SONATRACH-ALGESCO Spare Parts Contract
I10: Orders and receptions for spare parts.
 Accomplishment of the Monthly and annual work reports.
 Review / recommend and implement health care packages for retaining mechanical
equipment .
 Provide discipline input for any proposed engineering modifications.

 Supervisor with experience mentoring junior engineers.
 Analyse Rotating Machinery Equipment history data in terms of failure Analysis and spare
parts consumption and inject the experience to selection of equipment’s during project
execution.
 The realization of the kits of the spare parts: all Compressors and Auxiliary Equipments.
