Role and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing of clients project specifications, Isometric drawing, Visual inspection of Pipes, Plates, Flanges, Reducers, Valves as per Material testing certificates.
• Inspection of raw material, monitoring welding consumables storage, issue and usage by welders.
• Reviewing isometric drawings for construction, cutting of raw materials, fit-up checks, monitoring preheat, inter-pass temperature and post heat.
• Visual inspection of welds in all stages and dimensional checks as per drawing.
• Witnessing for welder qualification test, procedure qualification test and NDT.
• Executing the repair and contruction of stationary equipment and structures.
• Preparing hydro test contruction of stationary equipments and structures.
• Verifying welder qualification certificates, updating the certificaties.
• Responsible for calibration of welding machines,baking ovens, thermometer, welding inpection guage etc.
• Submitting daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports to QC manager and discussing the solutions related to inspection schedules and problems
• Reviewing all the inspection reports, dealing with clients inspectors, offering various inspections and get approved from client inspector.
• Documenting all reports and submitting to QA/QC Manager.
