Senior Environmental and Process Engineer

I am looking for a challenging international position combining environmental and process engineering in the areas of process off-gases, atmospheric emissions, air quality, water treatment and site remediation (contaminated groundwater and soils).

I am a senior environmental engineer with a master’s degree in water treatment and 30 years experience in process and environmental engineering, 20 as a consultant engineer, 10 in the mining sector. Air quality, water treatment and site remediation are my primary fields of expertise. I also have experience preparing and implementing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA’s) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP’s) developed within the framework of international guidelines (WBG, IFC, AfDB, EU, USEPA, WHO, ISO, UN, UNEP, etc). I have a diversified skill set in design and process engineering, commissioning, system retrofits, business development, project management, technical expertise, instrumentation and control, training, field work. group leader, etc. I have held senior project manager or supervisory roles for over 15 years, most of which included business development and mentoring of juniors. I switched to international mandates 10 years ago with the desire of combining challenging global work experiences with the enrichment of discovering new countries, cultures, and customs. The change has allowed me to direct more of my personal time towards humanitarian causes, relief work, micro-financing of local projects and volunteer work. I want to be the change this world needs.

Engineering degree in Systems Engineering (mix chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical) + Masters Civil Engineering (Water and wastewater treatment)
