Monitor and assesses hazardous and unsafe situations.
Supervises tank cleaning operations on supplier’s vessel.
Supervise heavy lift operation during lifting of heavy loads.
Carry out safety drills with approval from the base manager to know workers emergency response preparedness.
Carry out routine gas testing operation on supplier vessel during confine space entry of tank cleaning operation.
Develop measures to ensure safety of personnel.
Maintains awareness of active and developing situation.
Conducts toolbox meeting.
Inspect the workplace site to ensure it’s free from hazard prior to an operation.
Ensure there are safety messages in each incidence plan action.
Investigates accidents that have occurred in the workplace environment (Immediate and root causes).
Promotes safe practices at job sites.
Issue personal protective equipment to workers in line with company policies.
Carryout permit to work monitoring and review.
Stop any unsafe act or condition that might be dangerous to the health and safety of workers.
Arrange for training and re-training of workers with management approval on current work practices and procedures.
