Oil Movement/Tank Farm and Terminal Operation Engineer

I am working in Pakistan leading Refinery (PARCO), having 100,000 BPSD production.
LPG Handling at PARCO
•Receive LPG from LPG Merox unit in LPG storage sphere.
•Charge LPG to refinery fuel gas system
•Deliver LPG to marketing companies through pipeline according to procedure & Safety rules.
•Hand experience of filling of Bouzers.
•To carry out safe sampling of LPG from LPG storage spheres.
Product Blending Activities
Prepare the lineup from component tanks to blending header for products, Jet A-1, Jet A-8, Motor gasoline, HOBC.
•Controlling of chemical injection to the product i.e. Dyes, Anti-static, Anti-Oxidant, etc.
•Preparing of Recipes for different specifications of gasoline product i.e. RON 92, 97 etc.
•To maintain tank data record
•To manage & record keeping of all chemicals consuming in blending area.
Operational activities at (Oil Movement)
•Crude charge to refinery (CDU).
•Receive rundowns of products in respective tanks.
•Different product delivers to OMC, S (Oil Marketing Companies) through pipelines &Tank Lorries (GANTRY OPERATION).
•Handled switch over of rundown & delivery tanks.
•Well knowledge about different kinds of tanks.
•Sampling & gauging of different product tanks.
•Hand on experience to check the oil movement area according to P & ID.
•Water flushing of pipelines
•Air blowing of pipelines
•Tightness test of pipelines.
•Leak test of pipelines.
•N2 purging of pipelines according to procedure
•Receive crude oil for refinery through 864 Km long pipeline from Karachi to Mehmood Kot.
•Operation of 364 Km long PLC Based SCADA System pipeline for HSD & Kerosene pumping to up country Mehmood Kot to Faisalabad Machike(MFM)
•Hand experience of receiving of interfaces of different products i.e. Crude Oil, HSD, kerosene through same pipeline
•Hand experience pigging of pipelines i.e. receiving & launching of pig.

•Master In Supply Chain management (in progress) from Virtual University Pakistan.
•B.Tech Chemical Engineering from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan Pakistan.
•D.A.E in chemical Technology from Punjab Board of Technical Education, Lahore Pakistan.
•Matriculation from Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad
