• I am a professional with 8 Years of experience in Stores / Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Logistics, Procurement,6 years of experience in SAP MM & Functional & production Management. Skilled in ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings with minimum holding of stock, maintaining hassle free storage areas and arranging infrastructure to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Coordinate cross functional teams from various Volvo entities, internal plant departments, and our supplier base, towards our goal of providing on-time, accurate inbound shipments, at the lowest possible cost.
• Current inbound. Continuation and expansion of standardized packaging for all materials, using a “Line back”, strategy, to gain efficiencies and reduce overall costs. Custom rack design and returnable rack programs are also incorporated into my packaging responsibilities. Areas of responsibility included Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Purchasing
• Inventory accuracy improved from 70% to 90% in first year resulting in exoneration of annual physical inventories. Manage the Materials Coordinator, Material Controllers and Store men in addition to the equipment and associated Man power and assign daily activities and forecasts.
