Electrical Engineering Department Manager

I am seeking a position as a corporate lead electrical engineer or a lead electrical engineer on a long-term multi-phase project.

I provide engineering design, planning, construction, safety, inspection, and management services in the electrical, power, instrument, controls, SCADA, communications, and mechanical disciplines. I have managed substation design and construction, generator additions, motor controls and power distribution including the $38M EI&C portion of a $300M sugar milling, railcar receiving, evaporation, crystalization, and refinery facility expansion. I produced P&IDs, and purchased all valves, instruments, controls, programming, network, and major electrical equipment. I master planned the Rockwell Automation systems & fiber optic networks.

I was the project engineer with a Central American EPC contractor assembling a 100MW coal fired generating station. This included the 230KV intertie to the main substation. With another EPC design-build, we completed power generating station wet and dry scrubbers. I was the company principal engineer, I provided industrial and commercial facilities engineering, design, purchasing, and construction management services for up to $200M construction annually. Our services included SKM power system and arc flash analysis, instrument and automation selection design and installation, lighting and power distribution design and installation, and UL panel design, fabrication and process control system programming.

I was the electrical engineer for design, and construction management services to regional engineers and architects, municipalities, prisons, hospitals, and schools. Designs conformed to the AHCA, FDOE, and EPA & FDEP environmental standards. As a lead control systems engineer, I developed feasibility studies, master plans, design memorandums, FEED, detailed designs, specifications, P&ID drawings, and estimates for the construction of telemetry, SCADA, instrumentation, distributed control systems, and County-wide information systems. I was responsible for the on-time and under budget completion of each project by my design team and sub-consultants. I have designed, specified, estimated, and constructed power distribution up to 230KV, motor control, AC/DC drive systems, fire protection, security, communications, and lighting systems.
