Present Assignment: COST & BUDGET CONTROLLER (B2B & SAP)
In short my exposure in ARAMCO JV KOC (Khafji Joint Operations) environment can be noted as below:
• Cost / Budget Control & Invoice Verification for SRM (B2B) and SAP (ERP) Invoices.
• Preparation of Five (5) Years Business Plan (Work Program & Budget)
• Preparation and update of MPU & BISR (Monthly Progress Update & Budget Item Summary Report)
• Processing both B2B & SAP (Non-B2B) Invoices for Milestone, Unit Rate & EPC Contracts.
• Analyzing Manpower Allocation of B2B Contractor / PMS on Yearly/Monthly basis against the active Capital Project.
• Prepare project Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) in concert with Project Lead and monitor AFE approval process.
• Preparing report on AUC (Asset Under Construction) on year ending & Final AUC upon MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificate)
• Creation of Shopping Cart
• Reviewing of CONFIRMATIONS & Generate reports in Pivot Table & Match / Index to submit the status report to Management.
• Follow up for Field Tickets (Time sheets of Unit Rate Contract)
• De-Commit the PO in B2B
• Generating different BI Reports based on Contract No, WBS No, Vendor No, Purchase Order No etc.

• Preparation of Monthly Cash Call
• Preparation of Monthly & Yearly Accrual

• Tracking the Cash Flow against the Plan Vs Actual.
• Prepare Cost Variation Report based on Annual Contractor Cash Flow, also prepare CVR based on Annual Approved Budget Vs Actual Expenditure.
Budgeting & Financial Reporting:
- Responsible as TEAM member to participate in the preparation of Five (5) Years Business Plan.
- Coordinate with Corporate Planning Dept. for several changes made prior to finalizing the BP.
- Raising Authorization For Expenditure (AFE) in the SAP after the approval of BP to utilize the Budget.
- Interface with Project Management to monitor and control the approved Budget in line the BP.
- Coordinate with PCD Top Management to achieve the agreed KPI (Key Performance Indicator) of the Department. As well follow up with different PMT to ensure that the Contractor progress & relevant payments are done to meet the Dept. KPI.
