• Visit all working areas on-board during the course of the shift
• Control that the activities undertaken adhere to their associated PtW, Risk Assessment and Group HSE Procedures
• Is proactive in challenging unsafe behaviours, conditions or practices
• Advise Supervisors and personnel on actions required for reduction of hazards and monitor implementation
• Promote HSE awareness on site
• Report to management when it is judged that activities would have an adverse effect on HSE aspects of the work.
• Maintains the organization of the HSE Store on-board the vessel. Conducts pre-checks of equipment being issued at the HSE Store and maintains record of equipment.
• Promote Observations and Interventions Systems
• Assist in HSE induction and familiarisation process
