Seeking senior level assignments in Purchase Management / Logistics Management with a growth oriented organisation.

Sourcing / Procurement: Directing the development and implementation of key purchase / procurement strategies,
contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with project requirements. Formulating budgets for timely
procurement of various critical components and ensuring uninterrupted supply of components to end users. Preparing
the standard Bill Of Materials template, streamlining despatches & customising the inventory management system of
the service provider as per requirements.
Vendor Development: Developing long-term partnerships with local & foreign suppliers; managing day-to-day
supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms. Consistently evaluating vendor
performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material / execution of job works.
Appointing alternate / new vendors as part of import substitution and cost reduction efforts.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Sustaining the existing network & managing the supply chain, ensuring
timely distribution of merchandise. Monitoring availability of stock, making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time
deliveries. Coordinating with freight forwarding companies to ensure schedules of Air freight & sea freight for importing
materials.
Man Management: Directing, leading and motivating workforce; imparting continuous on job training for
accomplishing greater operational effectiveness / efficiency. Working on succession planning of the workforce,
rendering technical guidance to the staff, shift management activities, appraising the member’s performance &
providing feedback.
