• Efficacy of Industrial machine lubes (Dec’17 to Mar’19):
Worked on synthetic, semi-synthetic, mineral-based cutting oils
for variable output machining and recyclability. Reduced microbial
growth and reduced the hard water traces on AA7075 (aluminium
alloy), Ni-based(Inconel) aerospace metal workpieces
• Improved machining characteristics (April’19 to July’20):
Worked on reduction of tool wear, improved surface finish and
cutting temperature by using nano-additives in fixed weight ratios
into the existing lubricants. This method paves way for developing
dual property machining fluids for better cooling and lubrication
• Characterization of cutting fluids, Grease and Engine oils
(Aug’20 to May’21):
Has gained a bound knowledge on the characterization of cutting
fluids and lubes in terms of tribo-film formation and thickness
evaluation, ball-bearing effect, mending effect. Using of contact angle analysis for better spread-ability, zeta- potential analysis for stability and additive SEM analysis for morphological behaviour
