Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer, QA/QC Technical Specialist

I am a highly motivated and professional Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operator with over 38 years of experience. This was gained as a British Bomb Disposal Officer and as a commercial EOD Projects Manager. I have a proven track record as an EOD Manager with strong interpersonal skills, excellent cultural awareness and international commercial EOD experience. I was employed by Janus Global Operations as an operation’s assistant and then moved to the training department teaching High-Risk Search (HRS). I gained transition to war and post-conflict Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) training on my Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course, as home defence was my Regiments Remit. This military certificate has been accredited by a civilian training provider, Mat Kosovo, as UN Level 3+. I am a qualified Demolition Safety Officer (DSO), and qualified in booby traps during my B1 Combat Engineer Course and subsequent continuous training. I have search and detect experience as part of my past employments with Janus, Optima, G4S, DRC and HI and from my Advanced EOD course in 1995 and continuation training. I gained my QA/QC ISO 9001 and 14000 with Mat Kosovo in January 2021 and completed my Health and Safety course (IOSH) in February 2021. I completed my Internal Auditors course in July 2021 and attended and passed the Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET CA-EBS) course (a requirement to be a Client Representative offshore). I have technical and managerial experience during my appointments as Operations Officer, Second in Command and later as Acting Officer Commanding of 221 EOD and Search Sqn (Reserves).
