Professional Experience
Well Site H2S Safety Specialist - Plans, analyzes, and performs all onsite project services including personnel resources, equipment installations, hazard assessments, crew orientations, training, & drills. Implementation of Emergency Response and rescue plans. Development and implementation of site H2S contingency plans. Monitoring activities during critical operations and activities. Maintains site access control as required by the project. Ensures quality of project equipment and personnel by conducting ongoing inspections, tests and audits. Maintains equipment inventory & operability in accordance with the manufacturers’ and company instructions, training and established quality control program.
Experience in this capacity includes:
- Safety audits for H2S Safety equipment both onshore and offshore locations
- Installation & maintenance of various H2S safety equipment’s
- Training of rig personnel on H2S Awareness
- Conducts On-the-Job Training New Hire employees
- Maintains electronics and electrical components of gas detection systems and other equipment.
Has assumed leadership positions through conducting safety training for rig personnel, including donning apparatus, H2S safety training and organizing H2S drills on-site.
