Instrumentation & Control Engineer

An Instrumentation and Control Engineer with 5-year comprehensive experience in providing technical support for Natural gas piping Process Control Systems (PCS) including Process Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, RTU, SIS, Fiber optics communication, and Custody transfer flow measurement systems, conducting FAT and SAT tests for Remote Data transmission systems, and having good knowledge about related international regulations and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

‒ Provide routine Instrumentation & Process Control support to facilities by field investigation by periodic validation and calibration (with hands-on experience with Emerson, and Honeywell Systems).
‒ Conduct performance and compliance assessments for control systems and instrumentation and generate related reports.
‒ Supervise testing and commissioning procedures for Instrumentation & Process Control equipment.
‒ Review instrument selection, specification, and inline device sizing calculations.
‒ Provide Technical support for SIS and Emergency shutdown systems (ESD).
‒ Provide Technical support for SCADA field control systems including RTU units (with hands-on experience with Yokogawa, and Schneider SCADAPack Systems).
‒ Make configuration and troubleshooting for PLC systems (Siemens, and Allen-Bradley)
‒ Conduct Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Process Control System and resolve any technical issues.
‒ Make troubleshooting for Fiber optics communication systems.
‒ Maintain PV solar systems and UPS control systems.
‒ Achieve technical evaluations of control systems and instrumentation purchases.
‒ Annotate P&ID diagrams and instrument location plans.
‒ Have knowledge about international standards and regulations as ASME, AGA, and IEC.
