QA/QC INSPECTOR

 Offering 17+years of cross-cultural experience in Welding Operations, Visual Inspection, Non-Destructive testing’s, RT film interpretations. 

 Fully conversant with isometrics, P&ID’s and general arrangement drawings, modification as per site requirements.
 Review IFC Drawings.
 Fit-up & visual inspection (Dimensional Check, Alignment, Weld Visual) of pipe spools (Carbon steel, Inconel, cladded carbon steel, stainless steel, Alloy steel, Carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel etc.) Pipe support as per piping Isometric drawing (Weld Map) at fabrication and installation.
 Review and Maintaining Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welder Performance Qualification Record (WPQ) and assign unique ID to the welder as per Codes and Customer Specification.
 Witness Welder qualification test (WQT) & procedure qualification test (PQR).
 Witness Mechanical test (Tensile test, Bend test, Impact test, Hardness test, Ferrite test, Macro structure etc.) conducted for PQR & WQT, Positive material identification test conducted on fabricated parts.
 Preparing List of Welders and Welding operators every month, Welder Evaluation Sheet, Welding Surveillance report and monitoring the Performance of the welder daily.
 Monitoring stores and shop floor for proper usage of filler metals. Preparing and monitoring of baking, holding temperature and time of filler metals as per manufacturer recommendation.
 Monitoring calibration status of welding machine, inspection testing tools and pressure gauges.
 Conducting Inspection before, during and after completion of welding process and monitor the welding parameters as per the approved WPS.
 Reviewing of reports like fit-up, dimensional, welding, monitoring sheet, Traceability report etc.
 Responsible for performing all aspects of piping and mechanical inspection activities.
 Ensure piping and mechanical ITP & procedures stage are followed and complied.
 Witness NDT activities like UT, MPI, LPT& PMI and monitoring calibration status of NDT equipment’s, also verifying the NDT personnel qualification status as per the project requirement.
 Review of Test Packs with material and weld traceability.
 Involved in Line check with approved Test Packs prior to testing and reinstatement.
 Witnessing hydrostatic test.
